Ayurveda, the ancient healing art of India, teaches that food plays an essential part in one’s health and sense of well-being. Ayurveda is an approach to food and tasty vegetarian cooking. The recipes are formulated using herbs and spices to help balance the constitution of each person.

Trekking in India

Trekking in India started in prehistoric times, when the land was (still) inhabited. There are perhaps as many trekking routes in India as there are Indians. It was in the 1970’s and 1980’s that trekking started gaining in popularity as a recreational/adventure sport. 

There are trekking routes across the county, that take multiple days to complete, entailing religious shrines and sites. 

Trekking in India has grown in leaps and bounds and the current trekking scenario is very promising, with thousands of Indians and foreigners hitting trekking trails each year.

Yoga & Meditation

There is no one definition that can fully encompass the essence of yoga. Some may say it is a form of exercise, some may say it is a way to relax, while others may say it is a way of life. These beliefs about yoga are correct. In essence, the yoga practice aims to align the body with the mind through fluid movement and controlled breathing. Yet, there is more to the ancient art of yoga than this. The practice of yoga consists of five basic principles: proper exercise, breathing, relaxation, diet, and meditation.
